400 éves Vámház Korcsma

We have been cycling around Lake Balaton for 11 years. The 400-year-old customs house was a mandatory stop every time. Over the last two years, 2019 and 2020, quality has steadily deteriorated. The wine is crappy the service is scandalous. Both soda and beer cost 500 HUF each. Not recommended for cyclists after this. They can't expose a wretched umbrella.

I don't know where to put previous reviews. We did not encounter any 500 soda or plastic chairs. It's pretty much what it is so far. Fair prices, cold splatters.

The meatballs were delicious, that's why we stopped. 😋

Whenever I get to this, I definitely stop for a meatloaf sandwich. So far, the meatballs have been made according to the same recipe. I also know the "secret". The current owner doesn't seem to be betrayed because I got an average meatloaf. The old wooden furniture in the room was replaced with plastic and the exhibited collection also disappeared. He lost his charm.
