Restock is an issue most of the time.
Self scanners are a great feature especially that they rarely have more than a few cashiers open
Vegetables are not always fresh
If I can put a big 0 for the service, I would, people are very rude. The automatic machine re not working properly, for a person like me that goes twice a month buying for a reasonable amount, they should work better. I understand because of coronavirus they reduce the personal, a lot of people re without jobs. They should be happy that at least they re working.
It happened also in the automatic machine with my coupons I had like 2000ft discount, then of course the machine couldnt work, I have to grab everything go to a regular cashier, with zero Hospitality attention, and they didnt made the discount that I knew I had, even after mention.... I love Tesco, in England, not in Hungary.
Every time we come in, the shelves look half empty. Fruit, vegetable selection is not so wide, bakery is so-so, fresh meat is also not the best... Compared to its category, this Tesco is quite poor.
They have great produce, a lot of stuff to choose from. Various quality from very low to decent. The prices are can be too high for good products.
The scan and shop option is great, usable with a scanner or your smartphone. It's easy to handle and a good way to see what did you buy for what price, and this way you don't have to deal with the hungarian avarage cashiers.
They lack of staff so some of the shelves are half empty time to time, and whoever still works here are not really nice nor showing any will to help.
It's a good store for monthly shopping, simply because it's hard to find a better supermarket in Hungary. Tesco's problems can be found in other shops in the country.
This us the best shop for selected goods. You figure out which one 😀
