"We booked the accommodation as part of a special offer, which turned out to be a very misleading advertisement! Since there are two categories of accommodation, it would not hurt to give a cheaper description of the cheaper one. the owner greeted us who was very nice and then we occupied our room which was very disappointing.The tv is a 19 "monitor or small tv (we didn't go to see TV !!!) the bathroom is very small and crowded as well there is no relentless heat and no cooling.The room really faces the “garden” where the parking and the goods are transported and the kitchen under the room from which the smell of grease is constantly unbearable.You can stay with closed doors and go There was a ruthless warmth in the hallway (no air conditioning). so it should have been indicated on the invoice, which according to the advertisement would be 1500 / night, in contrast, 2000 / night was reported, which, as I mentioned, was not invoiced. We went down to dinner in the evening. The beetle that I exposed on the edge of the plate was floating in my soup, the calf was sprinkled into Viennese rum (as I found out with pumpkin seed oil) and served in a deep plate where I was quite surprised with my son, the tiramisu it resembled an Eszterházi foundation crowned with a puffed whipped cream. Of course, we just came back to sleep in the days to come. This pension is a great disappointment for us! We were wondering how this place could have gotten the ****. "

We spent 5 days in the pension. First we asked for accommodation overlooking Lake Balaton, finally we only got a view of the yard. The yard, also known as the parking lot, where cars went in and out all day, packed the goods, came trash cars. The kitchen was just below us, so from 7 in the morning to 10 in the evening the smell of food flooded the room (mainly the smell of greasy grease), so from the second day we almost didn't open the terrace door, so we could only stay with air conditioning. At breakfast we indicated that the liver cream dated 12.08.20 had expired (on the 17th), a slightly grumpy lady indicated that we were looking at the date the other way around and it would expire on the 20th, but took it anyway. We received similar reactions to our other requests. There was no problem with the quality and quantity of breakfast. Waterfront is close. We couldn’t find any food in the restaurant that we would have liked to eat, so I can’t rate it.

It felt a bit like the season was over at the end of August. Nevertheless, the service was kind and punctual. The food was delicious, not huge portions, but with a soup + main course combo you could live well. This year’s streetfood winner BalaToros and last year’s beef brisket ciabatta were very delicious. There are also bottled craft beers at reasonable prices. I recommend the place. It felt a bit like the season was over at the end of August. Nevertheless, the service was kind and precise.
