DKV Debrecen Transport Company.

It's 6.04 and I'm waiting for a bus scheduled for 5.47 this should give u an idea of how trash the timings are

We were in Debrecen for 5 days. In first day tried to buy family ticket that they published about on their official site...but only two machines for tickets were in the city centre and both not working. The tram drivers are not selling different kind of tickets only one ticket for 400 huf. So it is robbery by the company to sell us 4 tickets for 1 ride by 1600 huf instead 2600 huf family ticket for 3 days unlimited ride. The machines stay disabled for all 5 days of our visit. One good thing that trams came on time and frequently.

The inspectors are rude and they don’t even listen, I had my monthly ticket but I didn’t have the student ID so the inspector took my monthly pass and gave me a fine and everytime i tried justifying my issue he just kept talking over me and calling me names. They’re very racist

I can not emphasize how much I hate DKV now. I rather take a walk than use their freaking trams or buses. I just got into a tram as a visitor with friends and I was exchanging few words with them but the tram started moving. I entered from the mid back section. So I went up to the front to buy two tickets and I did as soon as the tram stopped because you can not find a ticket from the driver when it is moving. BUT on the same stop two inspectors came in right after I used my ticket. The first one checked and said thank you and went off but the other one checked again and told me I have to pay the fine because I didnt buy the ticket on the same stop I hopped on. I really tried to explain to them but it was ridiculous that I had to pay the penalty in the end!!!!! It was super upsetting customer service and bureacracy!!! I wanna give 0 star for DKV. Extremely poor service and unfairness

Most routes are always late, but at its best unreliable. You cant change vehicles with a single ticket despite the fact that many places are not directly connected.
