Szarvasi Arborétum

Excellent ambiance, great walkways (some of them real forest walkways, mind the mud after rainy days!), surprise beauty around every corner, especially in the autumn. Loved it, and the Mini Hungary is an extra that is perfect for kids and adults alike, so combined tickets are highly recommended.

A beautiful park established by the local earl and her daughter. Good for a stroll in the shade, especially if you saw Mini-Magyarország first in the summer heat, or if you are interested in botanics, or just want to see s nice park. I grew up in Szarvas and know its autumn beauty as well. Now it was early August, and we managed to catch sight of the peacock hens, five or six of them, together with their chicks!, which live in the park.

Great for children (mini Hungary 🇭🇺), even on a hot day there is plenty of shade. Places to eat and sit down are plenty too.
