As of January 1, 2021, merchants operating online cash registers must provide at least one electronic payment solution to their customers, i.e., either accept a credit card or accept an instant transfer at checkouts. In practice, however, we have found that there are still many traders who do not live up to expectations. However, public data on the number of merchants that have introduced or failed to introduce electronic payment is still far from approximate.
