Kristinus Wine Estate

Professional staff, however the online wine description and the words of waiter/waitress are contradictory. High quality wines from 2019 made with biodynamic methods. Close to Lake Balaton in a really nice village.

Very, very disappointed. A few nights ago we went for dinner and tasted this lovely Chardonnay from the sommelierline 2016. We searched for it at several shops and liquor stores. Unfortunately we couldn’t find it, so we decided it was worth the drive to the Kristinus Estate. Checked the site and google for several times. Both said the estate would be open from 9:00 AM till 10:00PM. Today we drove for over an hour to get there. When we arrived we saw one men, but it all looked very closed. When we arrived at the door there was a small paper saying the estate was closed. Very disappointing after driving for an hour only to find out we couldn’t visit the estate after all, because there were no notifications online at all.
