It is a wonderful building, but it is lost

I would like to speak to the owl castle, which will soon be renewed.

If it was to be renovated and visited, it would be beautiful!

The building is in the former Helvécia state farm. Frozen, guarded by the area. Unfortunately, the castle is in a very bad condition, in fact it has only the outer walls. History: Ede Wéber was built by a Swiss-born teacher in 1905 (architect Ödön Székely). Here he created the center of the newly planted vineyard, the Kecskeméti Grape Plantation Company. In the center of the former Helvécia State Economic Building, built with level shift, brick, rectangular plan, eclectic cellar and residential building, on one corner of the historic building with a three-level corner tower. On the invitation of Minister of Culture József Eötvös, Heinrich Eduard Weber, a Swiss teacher trained in Balatonfüred, was attracted to the vineyard with special interest. He got acquainted with Gyula Miklós, the government commissioner for vineyards, who wanted to establish a livelihood of 200 families in the Danube-Tisza River. And he started to make a big plan for his pleasure: he submitted his land purchase request, which was supported by the local assembly of Kecskemét and Mayor Péter Lestár, on 20 November 1891, on the condition that the municipal committee voted on selling the 2000 hectares of immovable sand land owned by the city, so that buyers begin the planting immediately. In the spring of 1892, 88 Hungarians and 17 German-speaking families were forced out of the Kecskemét railway station, who undertook an experiment that was uncertain: under the direction of Ede Weber, they began to plant vineyards and renamed their home for Helvécia. Every beginning is difficult - they say it. The first years of Helvécia were characterized by failures: mismanagement, hail, and drowning of financial resources were unhappy with well-intentioned settlers and public possessions. Some of the area was required to be marketed, the vineyard was bought by the National Land Credit Institution and the shares of the formed company were owned by a bank located in Gyöngyös. At that time was built the famous "palace" called "Bagolyvár" (below the wine cellar)
