Pipacs Étterem

This place is a we'll know establishment in Jászberény. Lots of elderly folk go there for their a la carte menu since it is ready to eat with no waiting. We went there to celebrate a friend. First of all, the wait staff are awful. It seemed like we were a burden to them for ordering off of the main menu. The food took quite a long time to come out. Once we got it though, it was excellent. If it wasn't for the waitress' attitude, they would have gotten a full 5 stars. The food was really that good. The wait was a bit of a pain, but everything was made superbly.

Very simple restaurant, traditional dishes for small price, weak vegetarian selection but tasty. Very affordable daily menu also available as take away.

Fish soup is not fresh.

The quality is hit and miss, at times its really good but another times its inedible.
