This place should definitely be visited. History of the Bible and the Church: "Vizsolyi Bible: The first complete translation of the Bible into Hungarian was published in Vizsoly on July 20, 1590. Therefore, with the on-site designation of the edition, it is officially called the Vizsolyi Bible, but the term Károlyi / Károli Biblia, which preserves the name of the translator, is also widespread. The relatively early translation of the Scriptures (1590) and their continuous publication in various domestic and foreign places ensured the development of the mother tongue faith and the completion of the Reformation for the Hungarians. Primarily, these are important achievements of our church life and Christian faith in connection with our biblical mission, but the additional fruits of these over the centuries cannot be neglected: the linguistic and spiritual construction of our Hungarian people, the scriptural inspiration, the religious fruits of his works of art. The intellectual, linguistic, patriotic development of our Hungarian people in many historical periods (eg in the Kuruc era) cannot be separated from the sacrificial preaching service of zealous pastors or even from their persecutions (eg the forty galley preachers). The mission of our church is for our nation to discover and authentically learn about our spiritual resource in the 21st century, the word of God: the Bible. Dear Visitors, the protected frescoes of the Árpádian Monument Church and one of the first editions of the full Hungarian Bible Vizsolyi (Károlyi) Bible printed in Vizsoly in 1590 can be viewed daily. Vizsolyi Reformed Church: The Vizsoly Reformed Church is divided into three larger units - a tower, a nave and a sanctuary. Its square-plan tower rises in front of the west façade, and the sanctuary itself forms a multi-cell space system. The shrine square is joined by a narrower extension and an even narrower semicircular apse. The squat tower has three floors. Its ground floor is formed by an forecourt divided on three sides by an apex arch. On the lower two floors there are porthole-like windows, on the third floor there are already pointed arched windows. We can get into the ship through a door that opens from the bottom of the tower, the previous entrance on the south side of the ship has been walled in. The ship is covered by a flat ceiling, illuminated from the south by four narrow, pointed arched windows. From its wooden porch on the west side, the tower has a pointed arched entrance identical to the arches of the basement. The pressed apex arc connecting the ship to the sanctuary square is carried by a shoulder stone consisting of a cylinder member and a closing plate. The sanctuary square is covered with a ribbed cross vault. The grooved profile ribs run on brackets consisting of a spindle and a truncated pyramid member. The keystone of the vault is a vessel, a rudimentary imitation of plant ornamentation. The triumphal arch has a stepped lining. The apse is covered by a flat half-dome. The sanctuary has semicircular funnel windows. The exterior of the church is puritanical. Its apse is divided by a row of evening baths, its only sculptural ornament being the distorted head on the south wall of the sanctuary square. "

It was a defining experience of my life to listen to and experience myself in the summer of 2019, which started the Reformation of Hungarian-speaking people, their direct relationship with God, in 1590. I’m going to visit the museum on an annual basis because it’s lined up among the places I love the most, thanks to the eye-catching tone, but perhaps more importantly, because of TRUE, beautiful, good-natured words I heard from the artist!

I also liked the exhibition, but the church is simply magical. Man is touched by history. My only problem was that the Reformed swallowed up the Catholic Church. ;-) Church leadership starts every hour! There is also a virtual geocache in the teplom garden. Required if you go for it.

Arriving at the scene, we were a little insecure because it wasn’t very reassuring and it looked strongly like we were opening into someone’s garden, but luckily we didn’t give up. In the workshop, the host personally told us about the implementation and implementation of their project, I do not want to shoot the details in advance, it is worth listening to and feeling in person! Not an everyday performance, all my appreciation! I recommend that you come here for this too!

Super exhibition driving, although the fresco is barely visible. Dear welcome, there is a small espresso section.
