Szász Endre Kastélymúzeum

It was a bit tricky to watch because we had to arrange in advance by phone when we were going. The entrance fee is 2 thousand HUF / person. The guided tour was interesting and the exhibition and the building were captivating.

We went to the castle museum with great anticipation. A young lady greeted us. He was not a qualified tour guide. He did not give a receipt for the entrance fee. He told me everything he knew about the sights. It was not indicated on the exhibits which of Endre Szász's works and which of the other artists. The lady hurried us, even though there were no other visitors besides us. We are big fans of Endre Szász's art. We saw his work on TV. He was a man blessed with extraordinary talent. In his castle, however, we were disappointed. It was not the artist who was at fault.

Anyone who loves the works of Endre Szász must see the museum. The artist’s widow drove us through, told and showed everything, we were able to take original pictures locally as well. If you are at Lake Balaton, be sure to visit. You must log in by phone in advance!

The exhibition and the pictures and objects in the castle are wonderful. The artist’s widow is incredibly obnoxious and rude, which would be okay if she didn’t keep the tour. Extremely hostile and lousy host.

Very interesting and special place. With many beautiful works of fine art. I heartily recommend it to everyone.
