Herőke Vendégház

It was simply wonderful - definitely one of the most charming places I stayed during my long distance hike through Hungary. The guesthouse is led by a very friendly elderly couple who take great care of their guests. Although they spoke only Hungarian, we got along very well using my few words of Hungarian, google translate and sign language. The food they served for dinner was partly from their own fields and garden. It was nice and delicious. I enjoyed sitting and reading on the balcony in the evening sun. The village of Tereny is very charming as well.

Very kind owners. They live on the lower level, the apartment is on the above level. Very clean, nice, new, tidy accommodation. In a very quiet and peaceful environment. There is also a terrace from which to see the castle, hills, hear the birds. As the accommodation is on the edge of the village, there is no car noise.

Lovely hosts offer this spacious and comfortable accommodation. The view from the balcony is very nice. For those who love the rural environment, it is an ideal choice.
