They are very kind, very good and interesting place!
I'll join the solo before me. The ticket is really 1500 Ft, which is a very pepper price for viewing two-room "materials". There was no information on ticket prices or the maintainer. When I asked the woman there, if there was a teacher discount, she had to call the director by phone to answer the question. (anyway, as no discount is found) The place and the historical event that made it much more worthy of it.
Lower ticket prices for more families to look at, and a much more content-rich exhibition that is much more satisfying for today's needs, after which you can really feel enriched.
It was a big disappointment. The exhibition is poor, with only three small rooms. We did it in half an hour. Compared to this, the entrance fee was 1500 HUF / person. (For comparison: the Hungarian National Museum - which one day is not enough to visit - HUF 1600.) The price is not listed anywhere - we have not been traced on the Internet or posted anywhere on the site. So the entrance fee has to be paid "for the announcement", no ticket is given. True, they give an invoice, but they ask for the address. (We have dictated something, but what do we have to do with our address?)
Update 2019-04-26:
Response to "Owner": CXXVII of 2007 nowhere in the law does I think that instead of the obligatory acknowledgment, it is obligatory to issue a bill for a museum entrance fee.
But, of course, he didn't respond to the point, namely the unfair behavior that no disproportionately expensive entry fee was shown. I guess the dog wouldn't go in anyway - so we might have been just three of our daily "traffic" on their exhibitions. (To call a museum is poetic exaggeration)
From January 29, 2015, Gábor Matúz will make the collection of the museum he founded available to the new museum. The museum not only sets the hero defending the city as a citizen, but also serves as a research site nurturing the memory of Aladár Barusz Huszár and Cécile Tormay.
The exhibition, now housed in the former house of the friendly Husar Aladár, brings to light this glorious moment of Balassagyarmat's past when the city was recaptured by heroic city guards.
