10/10. Amazing Hungarian food. Nice location. Good prices (cash only - both EUR & HUF). Staff is very kind and speaks Hungarian, Slovak, German, English. Totally recommend. Best halaszle in the world!

Old Hungarian classic, although for many years visited mostly by Slovaks as it is close to Bratislava. Great Hungarian food, nice surroundings, quiet and pleasant place.

I was taken to Sári Csárda by my uncle, who lives in neighbouring Slovakia and thus has visited several times over the years, and couldn't be happier to have been shown this absolute gem of a spot! The location is extremely beautiful, tucked away from the main road, nestled amid loads of beautiful greenery. The place itself almost reminds me of something you'd see in a fantasy film. Inside the aesthetic is classically Hungarian in the most authentic way. It is a huge space with many tables. I went three times on my last trip to Europe, each time on a weekend night so as to catch the incredible live band. The musicians are all absolutely incredible and masters at their instruments- such a pleasure to hear all of these timeless tunes played by such competent hands. The service is incredible, with most of the waiters speaking at least two languages, so you should get by just fine if Hungarian isn't your primary language- there is also an English menu. What really steals the show though is of course the food... It is absolutely INCREDIBLE! It's so rich and decadent and authentic. Every single dish I had hear was a 10/10 and I couldn't recommend this place highly enough to anyone even remotely passing through the area... Okay, you might have to go slightly out of your way to get there, but make a whole day/night out of it, I promise you it'll be worth it! The entire experience, from driving through the local forests to get there, to the view of the property itself, to the authentic decor and atmosphere, to the musicians, and to the incredible food, is absolutely perfect. I wish there were more places like this still around, operating to such a high level. I can't wait for my next trip this summer!

Nice place, fine food, staff were fine the dishes arra quite small, the house bread seemed to be a simple toast from any market so all together its over hyped and not as good as said not recomended

This restaurant is really nice but Has one Big problem. You can pay only un cash and when employees suggest you withdraw money from cash machine which is in restaurant dont do it. Withdraw fee was 33€ which my good opinion on restaurant really demolished. And when you ask dear employees about that they almost forgot how to speak. Really nice :) never going there again. Btw Bill for meal was almost same as fee ;) it's a shame because we were very much looking forward to this restaurant and it ended in disappointment.
