Pándzsáb Tandoori Indiai Étterem

Excellent food, great service, always good! MUST edit this as recently the place has been trough a renovation which in fact was not a good idea. It became a cold, sterile, fast-food-like place and lost all the traditional impression which so well fitted their excellent quality foods. I sincerely hope owners recognize this by the end of the pandemic and make a quick reversion to the old warm interior which we always appreciated.

Though the food is delicious but the only male waiter they have is rude who threw menu in front of me and my spouse before denying it repeatedly in Hungarian. Everytime we visited the restaurant, he passed glares in a weird way. Few of our known Indian families also complained about the same. Food is worth your money but didn’t have a good experience so we have stopped visiting them now.

I have tried several Indian restaurants in Budapest and this place is by far the best. You have a great variety of food, glutenfree, dairyfree and vegan choices as well, and you can decide how spicy you would like your food to be. If you don't like spicy things just ask the waitress to have your food "not spicy" and you will still get an awesome meal with magnificent flavours. I am a regular visitor here and I'm always satisfied with what I experience here. You can't choose wrong here as everything is delicious, but here are some of my favorites I recommend to try out: Chicken Malai Methi, Chicken Curry, Chicken Madras, Lamb Rogan Josh, Onion Rings, Mushroom Pulao. To sum up, it's a must visit place if you'd like to taste real autenthic Indian food!

This is our absolutely go-to (Indian) restaurant. You may have to be prepared to wait quite some time for your order to arrive, but rest assured it will be absolutely worth the wait. They have a huge selection of food, even if you are not a meat eater, you surely will something nice to have. The waiting staff is kind and helpful as well. I highly recommend this place!
