Opened on time for my 8am pick up but forced me to buy their personal insurance at outrageous price (250 euro) even though I had my purchased my own personal insurance through a local reputable company. They know that people on holiday are going to take their insurance instead of ruin a trip, this kind of strong arming should be illegal.

DON'T GO THERE !!! We had booked a car with friends, so we paid 200 euros for 5 days on their website. Once there, the agency asked us to pay 250 euros more because "we did not pay with a credit card on the internet but a debit card". However, we had a credit card at the agency but impossible to change. So we could either pay the extra 250 euros, or leave and lose the 200 euros we had already paid. It was clearly blackmail. So we rented a car in another agency for 155 euros 5 days. Having been charged the basic 200 euros in this shabby agency, We paid a total of 355 euros (so for 2 cars !!!), less than their 450 euros they wanted. They are scammers as evidenced by the many comments... they are so unlovable i had never seen that before... I recommend the agency U-save Budapest which is much more professional and much cheaper !!!

me and my family go stuck in the middle of the road for eight hours without any real assistance from any of the emergency phone numbers they gave us they over charged us for two days when we actually had the car for only one day. we received no apology or any understandable explanation for their behavior. maybe a chip company but not worth the experience. stay away from them.

Never rent a car form Megadrive. Total rip off merchants. Charged us for damage to roof of vehicle that was clearly old damage. Plus the fact thay gave us a modified van instead of car that was booked clearly shows they were setting us up to be the fall guys for paying for damage that was already there.

Avoid them like plague! They charged me EUR900 for some small scratches on the bonnet. Most other rental companies would consider this regular wear and tear (also a whole new ford galaxy bonnet costs less than a fraction of this). Lots of other issues with them (incomplete terms and conditions, only invoices in german, etc). I've reported them to the local consumer protection authorities - fingers crossed they get shut down.
