Chaos going on there at the organization level. The use of the rooms and meals is administered in a booklet, which makes everything a complicated story. There were far few in the morning criticism, our group, which consisted of 23 people, had no more vegetables, and they put less out of everything at idle. A basic drink is coffee, which is not for them and so you can buy it in the buffet inside the restaurant section which they prescribe for your room consumption. Margarine is the cheapest variety, very little breakfast liquid is put out, and the bread is also toasted for a long time as they put out a small two-person toaster with a line. Lunch we didn’t ask for an opinion I can’t write but I can imagine what’s going on in that period as well. At dinner, however, I can say that we started from the mixed circle, the other half of the group only got rice, the beets were pickles, but by the time the serving staff reached us, all that was left was sour cucumber. The portions are small for a man.
I would classify the accommodation in the middle category, we were in building C, a long stone house where the rooms were relatively completely clean, but in the bathroom it is very inconvenient to have a curtain in the shower, inadvertently draining the water.
To me, it is outrageous that there is thermal water that they can utilize, there are several fishing lakes, a pleasant wooded environment, and even the indoor pool in Building B, and you just can’t operate it properly by the farm management. It’s a shame because it would be a huge experience to be there for up to two weeks if it weren’t for these annoying things.
Do you like going 3km on a dirt road, your car will be clear mud and the tire will drain a bit from the half-meter potholes?
Do you like no one waiting at the front desk at 2pm and then it turns out your room isn't ready yet ... have to wait half an hour? Then dirty staircase, smell of vinegar in the room and spiders on the wall, ants everywhere.
Do you like it when a half-board dinner means you get a zone-wide amount of uncritical food?
No soup, no dessert, no bread for the "stew", a trio of ((!) Mini-plates of cabbage salad, every day - it's pickles. No milk, no coffee, no cocoa, no cheese, no eggs, no fruit for breakfast - just ... let's just leave!
Do you like mosquito invasion and two-meter ragweed on the lake shore? Plus, if the "ping pong racket" has a rotten rubber for a decade, and the gym is also a washed-out linen dryer.
Yeah, it's all in the price of a four-star thermal hotel.
If you love all this, this is the place for you. Otherwise, escape!
We had almost no good experiences. The homestead's approach is catastrophic. A dirt road of about 2-3 km covered with muddy pits leads to it (there was mud that it hadn’t fallen for 1 week before). The only minor concern is that the car will be muddy, dirty, but as the pits circled, a branch pulled the side of the car so I could take it for polishing later. GPS directs cars to an earlier dirt road, so it’s easy to get lost because there are no large, clearly visible signposts in sensitive locations, so you can easily dock in the cornfield. We got a room in the attic on the farmhouse, which wouldn’t have been a problem, but it was awfully warm (even around midnight or 28 degrees), but there was no air conditioning or fan in the room). Only the open window would provide relief, but that didn’t help either, as on the first night two men pressed loudly for about 1 p.m. , but then I already closed the window so that we would rather cook, just be able to sleep peacefully from the noise. We didn't even try to have breakfast, because although breakfast was written until 9.30, but around 8.45 there were only half a sausage, some bread, a little butter and exhausted flames on the table with some cold cuts, which wasn't very reassuring. Upon departure, the owner did not deal with the payment - although the price was tied to the current Euro exchange rate - he asked for the maximum price set at the time of booking, which is overpriced compared to the quality of the place. After payment, the cash register only received a receipt for the transferred amount upon special request. Time stopped on the homestead in the 80s, about the cleaning also moves at this level. One of the 3 lamps in the room worked. On the old CRT television, the sound was gone at times. The tap had to be run for about 5 minutes before the warm water reached the floor. The equipment, the furniture of the faucet, look all about 20 years old, so it is strongly visible in use. The hallway cooler turned on when the wall outlet was moved. Because of the narrow corridors, it would not be easy to escape in an emergency, and we didn’t even see safety equipment (fire alarms) (maybe not even a fire extinguisher upstairs, but I wasn’t looking for that). We basically just went there to sleep, and although there is a pool and ping-pong, table football maybe, but they ask for a fee (800 HUF / hour?). I think this place would be more suitable for anglers in the area who do not come with family and children to relax. It was all a disappointment. I don't want to go back in life.
I can only recommend it to everyone. Calm, quiet place in the middle of the forest, Divine good air and silence. Jacuzzi and pool, place for baking, but of course there is a kitchen where you can order. Buffet (coffee, drinks, etc.). Two fishing spots where you can go fishing at any time and are included in the price of the accommodation. So great !!!!
Very nice, quiet, family place surrounded by forest and lakes. At the same time, the atmosphere is very retro, it would fit into a more serious renovation. I complained that it was not possible to get a decent beer in the Gösser-branded restaurant, only bottled, lukewarm sopronite, although the next day the tapped came, but it was terribly watery tasteless, just like the kv. If you bring supplies with you and you don't mind the Kádár era feeling, you will feel good.
