Kulacs Csárda

I had a fantastic lentil stew with pork here. The staff were efficient and quick (they also looked after my lost property for a couple of hours!). The ambience inside this well kept restaurant was cosy and quaint.

Really good food at reasonable price, freshly prepared. The plate for two is a bit smaller than in other places in Eger, but meat is better quality and taste. The "ball pancake" for dessert - great, but will make you more than full. Service is a bit spoilt as the place is really popular, but ok.

Was very crowded. Not the best place to visit during COVID pandemia! Food was good.

Friendly staff and community, beautiful garden terrace. Chicken paprikash was amazingly done well, I had it replaced with rice. Duck meat was soft and the cabbage was well prepared. Situated right in the heart of szépasszonyvölgy, dinner here I would assume to be absolutely delightful!
