Salamander House

Situated just under the Szadvar (Szogliget). It has a good looking playground for kids that could be accessible after or before a nice trip up to the ruins of the ruins. Also food is available here in thenlocal restaurant/bufet. For the momment is under construction - so ot was closed for public use (do not know the comcerned period).

We was there only for the gift shop, which about I have to say it's MUCH smaller than it looks like at the pictures on Google map... The ladies was VERY helpful and sweetheart, the garden of the place is beautiful! But ⚠be aware⚠the place guarded by a mad, big dog which barked at us all the time, he didn't want to let us in the garden at all, we only could walk in because I'm kind of crazy and didn't want him keep me away after we did a long way to get there. And we saw he also was scary-aggressive with the little kids who was customers in the hotel.

I have visited here several times, both on private trips and on class trips. It is in a very nice place, deep in the forest, a few kilometers from Szögliget. The kids loved the place very much, ranking it among their best class trips. Nearby Szádvár can be seen on a good little tour. On site there are two well-equipped kitchens, a dining room, shared renovated showers, a terrace, an outdoor oven, an outdoor covered dining area, a barbecue area, and a very spacious courtyard. All this at a completely affordable price.
