Tengerszem and Education Center

We spent a night in the hotel after visiting the Aggletek caves.The hotel surroundings are beautiful and the hotel and restaurant staff are very welcoming. On the negative side: worn out bedroom and bathroom furniture. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

I spent a night at this place on my long distance hike on the E4 through Hungary. The hotel was fine and functional. Some of the staff spoke adequate English and/or German which made communication for me a lot easier. I especially enjoyed the escellent breakfast buffet - although the coffee machine malfunctioned a couple of times.

We only used the restaurant. Long story short, good food but the prices are much higher than the food quality, and bad service: The food came really fast (within ten minutes) and was good, but it was more expensive than worth. We sat 15min before a waitress even acknowledged and say hello to us (we even had to grab a menu by ourselves after we waited and didn't got one). When we went inside from the balcony because the weather became cold, we stood ten minutes at the counter to tell this, again, without being acknowledged at all. After we ordered the second time, there was missing items when it was served -which they didn't remember at all, I had to re-order the items after we finished.

Charming Hotel hiding in the Nature. ☺Calm, cosy, tidy accommodation with all comfort what You might need for "leisure with pleasure" avoiding noise emmisions far away over the rainbow. Great for hikers and Nature lovers. 😀 Special thanks to the receptionists and hotel personnels for their warm and kind attitude towards visitors 🤗🙃 Wishing You a smily stay there, listening to the "sounds of silence" 😉
