Nice, well-kept, relaxed environment. You can walk for hours. It is worth fishing too!

The picturesque building, on the island of the lake, was erected in 1891 at a former building. The ground floor part served as a cattle ranch (the six cactus cows that lived here and on the island were counted as an important part of the park) and in the bunky part of the pavilion, the Festetics Andorné cave was occupied because of the healing effect of ammonia-containing stall air and freshly brewed milk. The island was originally approached by a boat that could be dragged by a wire from the castle, and today's bridge was built.

The park is beautifully renovated, but the castle is not yet! But worth an afternoon walk!

It would be a nice little apartment on a small island if it were renovated.
