Dégi Park-tó

Wonderful. Magic.

I love space! The castle is not yet, but the park can already be visited. Beautifully renovated castle building, tidy park and lake system. Ui: Did you know that My Treasure was also (partly) filmed here? :)

How to get there: you have to walk around the lake from Dég, from the north side, you can enter the road between Dégi Park Lake and Álmoktava fishing lake (Szabadság tér and Hunyadi János) and at the gates of Festetics Castle. There is a ticket! There is also a guarded car park .... A beautifully maintained, well-kept English park that can be walked a few kilometers. This is the magic of autumn with its beautiful colors and the sounds of lake life .... In the south-western, farthest tip is the burial place of the Festetics, in the northern tip there is a forest playground. Between the two is a pleasant environment and tranquility. The presence of anglers and photographers must be taken into account!

Nice and pleasant walks can be done in the park. For children, there is an additional playground. The washbasin is currently only available in the form of a mobile unit, which is under development. In the case of wheelchairs and prams, it is only suitable for off-road use because the quality of the roads is uneven. Reconstruction is underway, so further improvements are expected.
