Lovely hospitable spacious rooms with good location at reasonable prices. We have been returning as a regular guest for years.

Traveled across Europe. We got to Hungary for two days. During the booking process, this was the third hotel (the previous two canceled the reservation actually before the vacation), so the price was slightly not what we expected (more expensive). Balaton is something! A huge lake, greenish water, many birds, absolutely not afraid of people: swans, herons, ducks, a bunch of other ... An unusual smell from flowering lindens. Insanely delicious food in a cafe across the street. Amazingly affordable prices. "Tesco" (one of the largest European supermarket chains) - next to the house, a five-minute drive from the house. Banks, ATMs - at least three within walking distance. During our stay, we managed to drive only part of the coast, from Balatonboglar to Tihany. We got to the lavender festival, which made it possible to bring home a huge bouquet of these flowers ... Balatonboglar is a tiny village, entertainment and something like that is not there, absolutely calm family vacation. The hostess is a sweet grandmother. He speaks German and Hungarian, and yet we understood each other))))) Not a very convenient road to the water: a wide motor road with quite heavy traffic, through a Soviet-style railway tunnel, without lighting, in total - about twenty minutes on foot. Descent to the water - stairs, which is not very suitable for small children (ours at that moment was 3.2). About the house: boilers. We did not manage to win the kitchen, so on the second day we used cold water with detergents. The boiler in the bathroom - they were not warned that it should be turned on, therefore, having used hot water on the first day, on the second day, returning home, they were disappointed by its absence. The heating time is some long, which creates not very comfortable conditions. It seems that if the hostess had been asked about this, this misunderstanding would not have happened, but since they are not very friendly with this technique, they did not think about the difficulties and nuances of its use.
