Sculpture of the Boys of the Pál Street

This monument is made as a remembrance for the heroes of the same named youth roman written by Ferenc Molnár. It's loved by so many generations up to now, so that older generations became also fans of it. The monument itself (two boys left to the entrance of the highschool and three other guys with their bags right from the door) looks simply awesome and unbelievably authentic - it's really worth to make a visit there in the neighborhood of the Corvin Plaza!

A novel which is an obligatory book in primary schools in whole Poland,and a story that every Polish kid knows and is very familiar with...It really made me drop some tears when, as an adult, I was able to see the sculpture of my little heroes from the time when I was 10 or 11 years old and could olny imagine the square located near Pal street,where the beautiful story takes place.

was a journey back to my teens, when I read the book at school in Brazil. delighted to see this!

I've been waiting this moment for 10 years. After reading book I wanted to see this place. But I think this novel is not very popular in Budapest. When I was taken photos people were looking at me very weird.
