Budapest-Nyugati

Beautiful station. No issue with it all. The layout is massive and a bit confusing. The main concourse at the front entrance looks a bit shabby at first but isn’t too bad. The ticket machines were slightly confusing but no issue really. Could do with a slight clean but not too bad. Wide range of modern and older trains. Traffic outside is a nightmare but it’s got pedestrian lights so not too bad. The tram does stop here too. It offers a wide range of services across the country. Can’t fault it really. The architecture is beautiful. Just come in good time for your train as they are often quite punctual.

This station is one of BUDAPEST s must see place. It boasts a mall and some charming garden on its sides as well. A renovation is due in the next term!

Beautifully designed classic , fallen on hard times but is slowly being upgraded, evidence in the midst of the opulent McDonald's. Frank Crok would have been impressed!

Beautiful station but super hectic and complicated ticketing booths, many different departures and railways, don’t know if It was just that specific day but it seemed like there was much English speaking staff. Locker storage in a totally different section of the main boarding area.
