This ward stores the Keratons heritage firearms. Also found in the area is a lantern called “Kyai Wiji” that is guarded by the abdi dalem to make sure it’s always lit.

Another name for this building is the Prabayeksa Ward or NDalem Ageng Prabayeksa. It is also called Gedhong Pusaka.nnPhotographs shown are mostly not Gedhong Prabayeksa. Even the main photographer is the photographer for the Mandalasana Ward. This last ward serves for western musical performances, including the national anthem of European guests, performed by Abdi Dalem Musikan.nnThis building is a building itself, although the roof is connected with the roof of other buildings. To the east is Tratag Prabayeksa and Kencana Ward.

Prabayeksa Ward actually consists of two buildings, namely Kencana Ward and Gedhong Prabayeksa. Bangsal Kencana was in the form of pendapa which was used for various traditional ceremonies of the Yogyakarta Palace and certain annual commemorations, such as Eid al-Fitr, Maulud Nabi Muhammad SAW, and 1 Muharam, as well as the commemoration of the ascension of Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono. Gedhong Prabayeksa is a building that holds various kinds of heirlooms from the Yogyakarta Palace. Under normal circumstances, if there are no specific events, these two buildings cannot be visited, even stepping on the floor is not permitted
