Ancient building. Great view

Historical building from ancient Mataram Kingdom. A great place to know about history of Yogyakarta city. Many tourists and photographer take some pictures here, in the ruin of Pulo Cemeti.

A ruin heritage site located behind the Ngasem Traditional Market (Pasar Ngasem). I guess it was beautiful place. Based in history book Pulo Cemeti was ruined by Volcanic Eruption 120 years ago (cmiiw)

There is no clear documentation of this place except it is a heritage site.nIt looks like remnants of a colonial building being destroyed.nLocals said it was a palace destroyed by earthquake in the 1700's.nIt is not well maintained.
