My last 2 birthday cakes came from Ko's. The last 4 that I purchased, came from Ko's. Why? Because they're always perfect! They're even better than you think they'll be! I recommend you give them a try!

My friend ordered a Hawaiian strawberry Fields cake and doesn't want to write a negative review but if a cake has everyone eating it complaining as they're eating then I think it needs one. The strawberry buttercream was perfect but the cake itself was a disappointment. We left it out on the counter for a couple hours after taking it home from the bakery (the box says to leave out for 2-6 hours). First, from the picture, you can see a strange texture (uncooked and underbaked?) in the middle of the top and bottom layers. The cake was very dense and dry. I understand that some types of cakes are meant to be dense, but I don't think that any should be dry. Flavor wise, I could taste only a slight sourness from the Lillokai but otherwise it didn't taste like much and was unpleasant if eaten without the strawberry buttercream. Also, he submitted an order online to have some words written on the top but the cake came without it.nnLooked like a great place but we cannot recommend getting a cake here.

Planning a wedding during this time wasn't easy, and Morris and Chris were amazingly helpful, flexible, and supportive. We couldn't do an in person tasting session, so they made us a to-go box and offered to do a Zoom meeting to go over options. The Ko Caramel wedding cake was perfect, and the Lilikoi and Chocolate cupcakes were fantastic as well. Multiple guests told me it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had! Thank you Ko Bakery for helping to make my daughter's and new son-in-law's day so wonderful - we couldn't have asked for better customer service or product!
