Selamat Datang Monument

The monument itself wasn't bad. But the water fountain was another story altogether. The water was dirty, there used to be potted plants and flowers around the fountain, at least they had made the monument look colourful. Now, without the plants, you could see the broken tiles and mould on the floor. Some area of the floor was even cracked and broken without any sign of ever be cleaned or fixed. That's sad, since the monument is like the signature of Jakarta city. I really hope it gets restored soon.
