Borobudur Highland

Borobudur Highlands has nothing to do with the famous Borobudur Temple in Magelang Regency, Central Java. It is located in Bener, Purworejo Regency, Central Java, and part of the Nglinggo tea plantation recreational park, so once you pay entry fee for the Nglinggo park (Rp 12,000.00 for a couple on a motorbike) you can park your vehicle and take a short hike (about 100 m) there. The place is still under further construction. The first facility is a cool nature garden suitable for gathering and selfie, with an artistic amphitheater-like stage, clean outside toilets and modern tents for glamping. Each tent has six beds @ Rp 180,000.00. Each toilet used to have hot water, but now it offers only cool water. The next spot is a Tree House with nice rope hammocks. Another spot is a unique egg-like, three floor VIP room with AC and a clean attached bathroom; not so far there is an orchid nursery and some external washing basins and bathrooms.
