Tranquil and soothing for a relaxing laid back stay. Safe for kids with sufficient outdoor spaces to linger and explore within the premises away from the main road.

Hotel SuronegarannThe property sits on a lush green surroundings complete with mini waterfalls, flowering plants and a big mango tree fully laden with  a copious load of golden fruits.nA perfect place to relax and rest your feet for a couple of days before proceeding to your next destination.nChecked in 1600 hrs 08 Dec 2020. The place seemed deserted. We (2) were the only guests at the lobby. Lady at reception was very friendly and accomodating. Checking in was a breeze and we were invited to inspect the allocated room before accepting it. Room was nice and clean with a big bathroom complete with hot and cold water, long bath, sitting toilet and a big tiled cold water reservoir. Room comes with airconditioning and a medium size lcd tv (polytron) hosting less than a handful of local Indonesian channels. No food and beverage outlets on the premises but I suspect one could get the usual coffee, tea and some snacks by asking the front office to arrange for you. For something more substantial and varied just head out and turn right  in the direction of the Purworejo Public Square (Alun Alun) within walking distance and you might find something along the way to satisfy your appetite. Or just for  your leisurely morning or evening walks.nFrosm the hotel to the left nearby is the sprawling Suronegaran Market (pasar pagi) which opens early mornings only. Everything food cooked or fresh like vegetables, fruits, meats, snacks, kitchen appliances, etc, etc, (dll) can be found  here. Happy exploring.

Quite clean but little bit scary. Probably because I come there when blackout.

It's an old hotel. The facilities are old. But it's quite nice and really quiet as a hotel in a small town. The breakfast is simple but good enough. The staff is friendly too. They need to improve the facilities, such as bed, pillows, blankets and bathroom door.
