Watu Ulo Beach has black volcanic sand. The coastline is quite gentle and long, with waves that are said to be suitable as surfing locations. But no less interesting, many legends color the existence of this stone. There are other interesting legends on Watu Ulo Beach. Some say, these rock formations are dragons that are imprisoned for hundreds of years. The dragon is said to be very large, its head is in Central Java and its tail is in Banyuwangi. Watu Ulo Beach is located about 45 km south of Jember, next to Tanjung Papuma Beach and Payangan Beach. These three beaches are the prima donna of marine tourism in Jember Regency.

Pantai Watu Ulo in Jember. The weather is cool, the sand is black, and unfortunately the waves are big. so, it is very dangerous to swim on the beach.
