KOA has a name for well kept, clean, and comfortable camp grounds. That is why I chose this place. After a year of quarantine and not leaving our house in NJ we were going nuts and were pretty sun starved.nnTHE GOOD:nThe place WAS clean. Bathrooms were immaculate. No trash visible. Staff were friendly and helpful. I adored them. Please give them raises and a hug for me. The dog park was small but a great place to get our guys out to romp. Pups had a lovely time. The amenities for children looked great, and I believe if we had had children that perhaps this would have more been the place for us.nnTHE BAD:nThis is not a place I would choose for tent camping again. I feel as though this is more an RV park with 6 campsites added in as an afterthought. The campsites (while clean!) are small and very close together without any foliage shielding between them or the main road which you border. There is dense RV camping in the front, a small pond with tent camping and cabins on either side bunched together, and then more dense RV camping in the rear. This arrangement means that you are going to have constant foot traffic and auto/RV traffic all day in front of your tent. At night you will listen to crickets and the unending roar of window units/climate control in the RVs. The KOA is also very, very small so if you look out away from the front road you will see the suburban houses and yards which the campsite borders through the trees as clear as day.nnI... don't really think there is a way for KOA to remedy any of this. I gave 3 stars because my husband and I did have fun outside and KOA employees and equipment were great. Again, everything was very clean and ready to go and the employees bent over backwards to be kind and accommodating.nnI just wish the KOA website for this location had been a bit more honest with their photos and descriptions of their tent sites... Maybe by posting a campground map so prospective campers can see what they will be signing up for?

This is a smaller campground, approximately 105 sites. KOA is currently adding improvements and making things better. This is a nice campground for a quick getaway located close enough to shopping and the bridges for convenience. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a stocked lake, play area for kids and a dog park. It is well worth a visit.

All of the staff was extremely nice and very helpful. Our site by the lake was beautiful. Facilities were very clean. It’s close to home for us (about 40 minutes) so it gives us a chance to have friends visit while we camp. After a year of Covid restrictions it truly was a breath of fresh air.

I’ve stayed here before and had a great time and met some awesome people. This was last year at the beginning of all the lockdowns. Fast forward to this year. We were supposed to stay here this upcoming weekend with two other families, all with our own travel trailers. Everyone was looking forward to it. The two other families, this was supposed to be their first trip with their own campers. They were so excited. That is until we called yesterday to ask if the sites were going to be cleaned of the snow. I was shocked to hear, “No, that’s too much for us to do.” So let me get this straight. You’ll mow all the grass in the campground throughout the year with no issues, but you expect me to clear a foot of snow off of the site before I can back in and set up? I’m paying to stay there. This is akin to making me wash my own sheets if I stayed in a hotel or cooking my own meal at a restaurant. What exactly does the money I pay to stay there cover? This question isn’t rhetorical. I’d be more than willing to discuss this with the management. Needless to say, 3 families cancelled their trip and you lost money.

Stayed in deluxe cabin with 3 other adults. Not huge but big enough. Great set up. Concrete walk to cabin. Concrete around fire pit. Nice place altogether.
