Great KOA we are from GA. The KOA's are not like this. Very kid friendly the pool looks like the are redoing it but it is to cold for us at the moment. Staff help any way they can. Would come back and stay again!!!

We stayed there this past weekend. And we had an incredible stay. We hauled up our camper from 6 hours away. Staff was polite and nice to work with. The site was clean, I could email Carla and get responses the same day. Always willing to help with my questions. Highly recommend to anyone! We even planned our next trip back there in 3 weeks with more friends! Loved having the park for kids and the dog park for our pup! And it was quiet at night so the kids could rest!

This is a great place to stay. I stayed here for two weeks working. Plenty of space for your camping. The 30amps did seem a bit tight to me but that is t hgt e nature of KOA. The workers there were great! Always friendly and helpful. They have a huge play area for the kids! If you don't make dinner there are a ton of places to check out within about a 5 min drive.

A nice place to stay while you explore the black hills. See Mt. Rushmore, keystone, explore the black hills. Custer state park is only 45 minutes away! The campsite was secluded from the highway and there are many different options from dry camping, to full hookups including cable. There is a communal shower house/laundromat/dish washing station, as well as volleyball and horse shoe pits, and two playgrounds for the kids. It's quite pricey (75-100/night) for a campsite, but hotels seem to run at least 200/night around here as well. Would recommend staying for 2-3 nights and then moving on to a less expensive area.

Off season camping left a in lot to be desired. There was no more in the office the entire time we were there. instead of properly checking us in during the day they just came around and took photographs of our vehicles license plates. but she had actually just checked us in it would have been faster easier and I would have a receipt for my stay. As it is I don't know when I'm going to get charged for my stay. we're at the campsite all that much we only came back to sleep and as far as that was concerned it was quiet. the campground was clean but again it left a lot to be desired there was no customer service it was all self serve.
