This place is so Awesome!!! We Love this place. This is our 2 time staying and we will come back Every Time. This is what a KOA is all about. My Family and I stayed in there Cabin and we love it. It is so clean and feels like Home. The Owner Jennifer is really nice and she Knows how to Run a KOA. This place will take you right to your area to stay and they have Pizza here and they will take it to your cabin or Camper. Need to come here to enjoy the life of outdoors. Plus they have a pond/ Lake that has Alligators that live in the wild. ( I have not seen one but theres a sign) Wow this is the place come and have Fun. God Bless this KOA

I had never stayed at a KOA before and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It's a little more expensive than staying at a state park for instance, but the value for the money was excellent. The grounds were clean and well maintained. There is a beautiful trail around the lake where you'll see gorgeous live oaks, palmettos, and maybe even an alligator. The staff is helpful and friendly. They'll personally show you to your campsite and cheerfully deliver anything you can purchase at the camp store from firewood to pizza and wings. There's also a respectable selection of beer and wine and a nice little coffee bar. They even offer wine tastings by appointment. The bathhouses are clean, accessible, and functional. Showers are nice and hot with good water pressure. The pool was open if you're feeling brave about doing a polar bear plunge in February. Our tent site happened to be right by the playground which was perfect for our 5yo. There was even a gem mining station and a giant chessboard. It was a little buggy, so make sure you bring some bug spray and a bug net if you're hammocking otherwise you will be eaten alive even in February. Otherwise, it was an absolutely perfect experience. We'll definitely be visiting again.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would definitely do a 10. Beautiful campground! Very friendly and welcoming staff. Super clean sites. Well landscaped.nNice store, nice little beverage spot to try from the local brewery. A definite return for us!

We stayed here on a whim. We are from Florida, and also have a house in S.C.. We got a super late start, and had to park the rig for the night, and by chance stumbled on this great place. WOW!! Super friendly reception!! Super helpful, super friendly, and just immediately made us feel great about our KOAs! Great job! Oh, and the pizza was great especially after hours of driving. It was muddy, but that didn't deter from the great personal service they offer. We never even knew they were there! They are immediately off the exit on 95, easy in and out, pet friendly, nice LONG stops (we are 42' with a towed 28 foot SUV) and never had to disconnect. Easy to drive and maneuver around, even with the vehicle in tow. We never disconnected either maneuvering, parking, or exiting. They are about 2 minutes off the exit, and although I hope they always have a spot for us, at the risk of others liking it as much as us, this a true example of what the KOA experience is supposed to be. Fun, friendly, helpful, and inviting. Thank you POINT SOUTH KOA CREW for accomplishing that mission! We will be back again soon!

Clean and organized campground. The staff was the friendliness we have encountered at any campground. The wine tasting was affordable and fun. There are plenty of things to do and the campsites were large enough and very flat and clean.
