The TNIAL Nomad aircraft (made by GAF-Government Aircraft Factories - Australia) are designed in several variants, including civilian and military. For the military version, apart from of course being used by Australia (AD and AL), there are several other countries that use this version of the Nomad, including Indonesia (TNI-AL), Papua New Guinea, the Philippines and Thailand. The TNI-AL itself reportedly has around 26 units of Nomad N22 / N24 Searchmaster (joined TNIAL 1971) who are members of the 800 Squadron Intai Maritim. The N24 type has an additional APS-104 radar reconnaissance capability. As information, Nomad is not equipped with self-defense tools (chaff) and weapons.
