This beach is located in the village of Oelaba, West Rote Subdistrict, Rote Ndao District, NTT. On the beach there is a small port which is used by local residents to transport their wooden ships (bodies, as local residents), which are the majority of the people's livelihoods as fishermen. Recently on the beach a lighthouse was built as a land boundary so that the fishermen could use it as a standard to find directions when they finished returning to look for fish in the sea.
