Another fairly new place to eat in Madiun. It is located next to the Grape tourism area, exactly behind the Grape tourism signboard, the parking area. The place is quite interesting, with steps with lots of ornamental plants. A place to eat as well as a place to sell ornamental plants. While waiting for the order to arrive, visitors are pampered by a beautiful expanse of ornamental plants. Food and beverage menu, quite a lot of choices. My family and I tried the chili fried eel, rawon rice and fried chicken. for fried eel, it's actually quite delicious, judging from the texture of the meat, the eel is fresh before cooking. But unfortunately, it is less dry in the frying process. Maybe because the cooking process still uses an ordinary gas stove, which is not hot enough to fry the eels quickly and dry. Another thing that makes the eel fry long enough is that the pieces of the eel are not widened, aka they are still in pieces. I see that the contents of the eel are still there, not thrown away (or maybe I forgot to remove them), one thing that I have never met in a restaurant or special eel eating place that is usually clean from the contents of the stomach. Another drawback is the selection of chili sauce. It feels like chili sauce is not the right choice to accompany eating eel. It will be more delicious and delicious if the sauce is in the form of shrimp paste tomato sauce, with the addition of fried garlic which is coarsely crushed. For rawon, it needs an increase in taste, it is still too standard, with a dish that is minimal sauce, and less thick in the kluwek seasoning. For fried chicken it is quite tasty, the texture of the meat is not too tough, cooked quite right. The drawback is that the fried chicken seasoning is not permeable, the flavor of the spices is still dominant on the outer surface. Another thing to note is the rice. It looks like there was too much water during the cooking process so the texture becomes mushy (not fluffier). The waiting time for food is quite long, but we consider it reasonable because what we order is fried eel, because it takes extra time to fry the eel to get dry enough. Service is quite friendly and good. Cleanliness of the place is quite good. Cleanliness of cutlery is quite good. Maybe what needs to be considered is the lesehan mat carpet that is in joglo2, because it still feels damp and a little wet from the rain. Overall, the place is pretty good for hanging out casually with family or friends, all you need to do is improve the food.
