Historical building. Built around 1821. Currently managed by the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta.

This is one of the historical building in Jakarta, and this building always give different ambience and goosebumps everytime I'm dancing on the stage.

Visiting this old building again in Jan 2020 to watch an international art performance. Not much changed since my last visit a couple of years ago. It looks a bit old-fashioned, but when it comes to enjoy the performance it is okay. The accoustic is considered one of the best in Jakarta. The building facilities should be renovated to meet the high standard of a concert hall.
