Cibitung Station (CIT) is a class III / small train station located in Wanasari sub-district, Cibitung sub-district, Bekasi district, West Java. The station, which is located at a height of +19 meters, is included in the Jakarta I Operation Area. The station is located some distance from the Bekasi-Karawang regency highway, the station opened in 1990 and was deactivated in 2011. Formerly the station was small. only an area of ​​1.5 × 1.5 m, so it only functions as a ticket sales window. The station platform is low and short in size. The station building was then enlarged to welcome the KRL extension to Cikarang. Nevertheless, this station is quite busy because it is located near residential complexes. Before Cibitung Station was established, there was a train signal post. Many residents of Pondok Tanah Mas Housing need the train's stop and departure. Because most of the residents of Pondok Tanah Mas work in the Jakarta area. Along with the interest of the residents of Pondok Tanah Mas Housing also residents of Wanasari themselves who want the existence of the train's departure and stop. Over time, a Cibitung Station was built which also began to need these facilities, not from the residents of Pondok Tanah Mas itself even from other housing estates as well as residents of Wanasari in particular. Since the entry into force of GAPEKA 2011, all local trains, both west and east, have not stopped at this station. So at that time, the station's old building left only the station's signboard and the former ticket window. In 2015, this station has been seen to be rebuilt and finally on October 8, 2017 it was officially reactivated with a new station building and serving the Jakarta City - Cikarang KRL Commuter Line. The new building of the station has only one platform in the middle of the two rail lines.
