Located at jl station no 1 Karangtengah Village, karangsari station is quite wide and is in the Cipendok curug tourist route, germanggis etc. Maybe in the future it will be strategic if there is a local train to accommodate tourists visiting Cipendok waterfall, and will improve the economy of the surrounding community.

Karangsari Station is a class III / small train station located in Karangtengah, Cilongok, Banyumas. The station, which is located at an altitude of +233 m, is included in the Operation Area V Purwokerto. This station has four lines with lines 2 and 3 as straight lines plus two badug lines each on the north and south sides of the station.nnIn the past, this station was often a place for train crossing to and from Purwokerto. Since the double track operates, there are no more trains that stop at this station, unless there is a suggestion between trains. Passing through mountainous areas, the route between this station and Karanggandul is prone to accidents, especially around the 330 kilometers.nnThis station has its own uniqueness in the form of a fish pond for foot therapy near the platform on line 1.nnTo the north of this station, before Patuguran Station, there is Legok Station, but now Legok Station no longer serves intersections or inter-railroad connections and only functions as a block signal controller.
