Mist was thick, air was very thin , and weather was cold in the night that was very silent . I visited this place several times years ago and had to climb a narrow road to reach here .But not today, today is very crowded , people are coming from everywhere to seek light of their deity and trace of their ancestor . One of the greatest King of Pajajaran is said to have ascended to the realm of spirit along with his Tiger form somewhere nearby this temple. Hundreds years later several Balinese elders claimed that they have been visited by the spirit of the deceased King, ordered them to built him an altar to allow him connect with this physical world. So then this temple began to be constructed on the slope of Mount Salak. By the time it is half finish to be completed , many unexplainable events have already occured. Several ancient artifacts suddenly appear out of nowhere, a large pile stones emits smokes from within, and construction workers often fall unconscious and entering some kind of trance state. Yesterday is the 14th times the third full moon in a saka year is passed since the temple was completed. People are gathering and pray all night until morning after. Food offerings are prepared, ancient welcoming dances are performed to welcome the gods and ancestors spirit that descend from spirit world visiting this earth realm. #temple #bali #religion #gods
