Bagus Jati

I stayed for several days at Bagus Jati retreat and enjoyed this experience. My accommodations were spacious and luxurious. This retreat does not have television though they did have wifi and they do have music players in the rooms.nnThe food here was amazing, some of the best I had while in Bali. They grow almost everything you eat on their on-site farm and the menu reflects the options they have from what they've grown. Breakfast was yummy as well.nnThe grounds here are beautiful and have many walking paths, statues, and a small temple to be explored. The swimming pool is beautiful and has large fish fountains feeding into it. There is a small walking path down to a natural swimming hole and waterfall near the pool.nnI had two spa treatments while here in the traditional Balinese fashion with oils and emphasis on my third eye. They were exceedingly relaxing and I felt refreshed after each.nnI did a learning excursion with a friendly member of the staff who showed me how to make traditional offerings and what the ingredients mean, we then visited some temples together, and did a cleansing ritual and offering at a nearby waterfall with many welcoming Balinese locals.nnThis was an amazing experience and I enjoyed my stay at this resort. It is very rural and is located far outside the city, it is not close enough to walk and you will have to request a shuttle pick-up, also the sounds of the jungle here and jungle animals get into the room and open-air bathroom spaces. So just be prepared! Still worth it!

Great resort, perfect athmosphere for a couple, just need to be improve is a wifi connection for room number 200 and above

We had a relaxing 4D3N here at the Superior Villa. Everything within the compound was well-maintained. Staff was professional and polite. Everyday the housekeeping crew was prompt to tidy up our villa during breakfast. A full course breakfast menu was given, so over our stay here we got to try out almost all the selections available. Hiden pkace. Many for meditation. Ckean and green Bali. Bali architectures. On hills very quite. Very peaceful. Max 2hrs to airport

An amazing, special location. The staff were all so lovely. Service was great. The grounds and rolling hills are kept immaculate. The pool, spa, food was all so impressive. We didn’t want to leave. What a magical place to relax and unwind. Handy to have the free shuttle service to Ubud. We stayed 3 nights in late July.
