I picked up a Swiss Bakery Pretzel and Pretzel Bun from Wholefoods, they are super yummy and I absolutely love them!! So much I have to make a trip to their bakey which I am sure is awesome.nThey're great as a snack or even I used some Avocado, egg, spinach, tomatoes and cracked black pepper with chilli flakes to make the most epic Pretzel sandwich know to mankind!nWholefoods themselves do a great Support network or selling local Vancouver-based business produce which is awesome!nSupport your local businesses!

You must try their famous Cronut! We ordered their triple chocolate Cronut and their lemon meringue Cronut - both very tasty. We will be back!

I love croissants and I heard that this was one of the best places in the city to get them. I ordered two regular butter croissants on a Wednesday morning around 11:30am. While visually they looked nice, from the moment I was just carrying the bag, I had a hunch just from the feeling of them in there that they might not be the freshest. Honestly, these croissants were so stale they were clearly day olds, the same what you would get from any random cafe. I might as well have even gone to Safeway's bakery section. There's no way they could have been baked that same morning, since I was only there a few hours after they opened. It wasn't written anywhere that these were day olds. I even tried toasting one at home and eating it with butter but it was still so stale and totally unsatisfying. You should not even need to add butter to a croissant to make it taste good, they are already essentially made out of butter! A waste of time, money, and my daily calorie intake. Save yourself the trouble and go to Batard on Fraser instead.nnP.S. This is the first time I've ever written a review for anything, that's how disappointed I was.

Bread and pretzels were tasty, a bit pricey but options for traditional German pretzels are limited so I guess they can do that. We ordered in advance and they changed our order last minute (without consulting us and with more expensive items) and charged us the higher price. Not ok!! We had plans so had no choice in the matter. Pretty disappointing!
