kresik luway is a nice place, which has beautiful views and has black orchid plants. but many visitors who litter, please take care of the cleanliness of nature reserves, sorry if we do not care together.

An awesome ecosystem with sandy substrat and quite dry climate. This Nature Preserve is the habitat for Bornean Black Orchid, many kind of other orchids and tropical pitcher plants, known as Kantong Semar

National park Kersik Luway (silent sands, Dayak language) is habitat for 47 orchids species and also various flora like Karamunting, Berengganyi, Akar Bani, and various fern. The rare Black Orchid (C. pandurata) and Pocket Plant (Nepenthes sp.) can found here. Other orchids species are Anggrek Meteor, Anggrek Tebu, Anggrek Macan, Anggrek Batik, Anggrek Anyaman, etc. The uniqueness from this area is the white sand soil that spread about 17,5 ha from 5000 ha total area. You can watch the entire area from monitoring tower.
