The only place where black orchids are protected

National park Kersik Luway (silent sands, Dayak language) is habitat for 47 orchids species and also various flora like Karamunting, Berengganyi, Akar Bani, and various fern. The rare Black Orchid (C. pandurata) and Pocket Plant (Nepenthes sp.) can found here. Other orchids species are Anggrek Meteor, Anggrek Tebu, Anggrek Macan, Anggrek Batik, Anggrek Anyaman, etc. The uniqueness from this area is the white sand soil that spread about 17,5 ha from 5000 ha total area. You can watch the entire area from monitoring tower.
