This gift shop in quite famous in Ambon. You’d find t-shirts with local words and jokes, ornamental stuff, bagea (cookies) made from kenari nut and such. I bought a t-shirt that says “Ampas Tarigu” which for the longest of time I thought was a slang or sarcastic word. Turns out it is a local delicacy.nTalking about delicacy, you should try Ambonese bagea. It is the obvious choice. They come in many flavors: chocolate, kenari, cheese, and whatnot. This particular shop sells some of the flavors, but for the complete menu, try the main “Petak 10” which is 3-4 miles away.
