The road to Ranaku is simple, but interesting enough. You can walk (all day), and you can negotiate with the motorcyclists, and you will be taken to the very top. Unfortunately, the road does not lead to the caldera of the volcano, the edge of which can be seen from the top of the road. The end of the road is the next peak with abandoned religious buildings.
