Komodo Dominik Tour

Really good service, they even picked me up from my hostel in the morning of my tour of 2D1N and no extra charge for this. And when the tour ended I didn't have to walk to their office as was the original plan but he came to the harbour so that I could just go to my hostel without any extra hassle.nnAlso the prices he told me regarding the entrance fees to the national parks were spot on, unlike with some of the other people on the tour that had been quoted lower prices than they actually were.nnGreat service all in all, thanks!

Not even worth one star!!!Worst experience I ever had in Indonesia!nnThe owner is a really bad and criminal guy, he sold us a daytrip with slow boat and 4 destinations... as we where already on the boat we noticed that we will not stop at Komodo island as he said but at Rinca Island to see the Dragons.....it was not worth any money! And the worst was that we booked because of snorkeling with Mantas, but on the boat they told us that they dont go to Mantapoint and the agency should not sell it as a Manta snorkel trip like they did!nBack on land, we asked the owner of Dominik Tours for 25% refound which we found very resonable considering that half of the tour was a scam. Of course he had few excuses and we argued with him, with the result to get a refund of 50000 out of 800000 which we found rediciulous!nPLEASE DONT BOOK ANYTHING BY THIS PLACE!!!! YOU WILL GET TRICKED!!!

Having read the reviews on trip advisor and Google AFTER booking the bike it's clear that there this business is a disgrace.nnThe owner seems to have small man syndrome issues and does everything possible to con and rip of tourists.nThe scooters and motorbikes are an absolute disgrace:n*Bald tyres - maybe 10 years oldn*Brakes that do not workn*The lights are terrible so driving in the dark is a no non* General condition is awfulnnI've been in Indonesia for 3 months and as most people would agree, they are absolutely amazing, thoughtful,caring and lovely to all tourists. This business and in particular the owner, is the complete opposite.nnDon't waste your money or time on this idiot, there are an array of businesses in Labuan Bajo offering great trips and motorbikes for cheaper rates but more importantly with much better service.

STAY AWAY FROM DOMINIQUE.nnTERRIBLE. Stay away from this office.nWe have had our worst experience in Indonesia with this man.nnWe wanted a personal drive from Labuan Bajo to Kalimutu for 5 day round trip.nnDominic suggested stops on the way for a 5D4N program but mentioned it was flexible and that the driver -who he said would speak English- could recommend homestays in the different cities (keep in mind that we were paying 900k per day for 4 people).nHe seemed very friendly, trustworthy and honest.nnFirst day he brought us to the wrong location and wasn’t able to recommend any homestays so we spent 1 hour looking for a place... ok but not what was promised.nnOn the second day we wanted to stop at the volcano -not in the original programme but on the way, on detour needed-. The driver called Dominique who got very aggressive and vulgar on the phone, saying we were “forcing his driver to drive more”, threatening to tell his driver to come back if we didn’t stick to the programme.nHe insulted me on the phone : “f*** you, stop making trouble, shut up...”nWhich is unacceptable and makes no sense since we paid for a driver so we should be able to decide where we go.nnThe driver was simple a driver : barely spoke any English, didn’t recommend any homestays, nice things to do, arrived late to pick us up in the morning, didn’t wake up for the sunrise (we had to wake him), told us to leave a 5 am for the sunrise instead of 4 so we missed it... and generally barely even speak to us.nIn addition he drove extremely fast, he could have died a few times or hit/run off the road others...nnWe are very mad since we were stuck with a program that was suggested to us and that should have been flexible but it turned out we had no choice to follow the programme if we wanted to continue to the end destination.nnOnce we arrived back at Labuan Bajo, Dominique first refused to come and speak with us in person -only discussing on the phone while regularity hanging up-.nHe finally showed up but had exactly the same behavior as on the phone : aggressive, not listening to us only shouting...nHe kept repeating the same things : we were cheap travelers and forced his driver to change the programme, that he didn’t like tourist (he should think 1 minute and remember how he even has an office...), we were making trouble, hit his hand on te table while refusing to give us money back...nnWhile a friend was taking a picture of the office from out side, Dominique even picked up a rock and threatened to throw it at him ! (See photo)nnSo STAY AWAY. Do not give him your money.nIt’s a shame to see that his behavior changed so much after paying him...

Mislead us on numerous times:nn1. Sold us a package which included visiting Padar but the next day when we departed he announced we wouldn't be going to Padar and that boats hadn't been going there in weeks (also a lie as my mate had gone the week before on a similar 2D1N trip). We were upset about this as we had just bought the tickets the night before and he had said we would be visiting Padar.nn2. We took a look at the boat on the marina the night before to see it was safe and he assured us this was the boat that was going out, but the next day when we departed it was a different boat which was much smaller and fit for less passengers - We were 8 passengers plus 3 crew.nn3. I had confirmed numerous times what money I would need to bring on the 2D1N trip and was assured only the 250k IDR/person for the Komodo Island entrance fee. However, we still ended up paying 50k parking fee for the boat at Kenawa and 40k IDR per person for a guide on the 2nd Island. When I confronted him about the guide fee when we returned he said there should be no fee but after I said we paid 40k IDR per person he said it should have been 20k IDR (meaning he knew there was a fee).nnAfter we confronted him about the above and asked that he return some of our money given the misspelling (also other passengers were charged 700k IDR/person while we were charged 800k IDR/person) he said that we had an agreement and he wouldn't go back on it. I guess he didn't see the irony of that given that he had told we would be visiting Padar when we didn't. We ended up leaving his shop with no resolution once he began yelling at us and swearing at me after I took a photo of his store front. Definitely wouldn't recommend him as he mislead us and you can get cheaper rates from others for the same packages.
