Staff isn't very helpful. During breakfast, the guy didn't believe I was staying at the restaurant and made me show him my room key before he served me. They do not provide any towels to take to the beach/water. Hello? This is an island! The air con takes about 40 minutes to cool the room down to an acceptable temperature. Nice sized room and clean bathroom with decent water pressure.

We stayed in this place two times, both a big mistake. The place is way overpriced compared to what you can get for the same money elsewhere. The first room we stayed in was right next to some construction work starting at 8am until 5 pm - very loud. The bathroom in this room had a literal hole in the ceiling where we could see through to the place above us - we put our own duck tape to seal it off. Our second stay was in a room away from all the noise, but the room was dirty and the bathroom here had mold all over the walls being both a health risk and leaving an unbelievably disgusting smell. Also the breakfast was pretty average. Positive remarks: the staff were all very friendly and the location was good. But this did not make up for all the flaws. Would not recommend - really poor value for money!

The Komodo Lodge is located close to the harbour. 5 minutes to walk. Perfect if you are going for diving at the Komodo National Park. The rooms are very clean and spacy. The price is okay for Labuan Bajo. Staff very friendly and helpful. All English speaking. Everyone tries to do a good job. Nice sunset view from the restaurant on the rooftop. Breakfast very simple. Could be better. Dinner menu not very special. But they have every night a special dinner with starter, main course and desert. Very good. Order it! You will be surprised. Compliments to the chef.nWith better breakfast would be 5 star rating.

Accommodation which is quality equal to price does not exist in Labuan Bajo. Basically you don’t get what you pay for, and this place is no exception. Standard double room: The room and furniture are super old and need renovating. The beds are spring board. The aircon isn’t strong enough. And lastly, the customer service is non-friendly and non-helpful. We booked for one night but after check-in we realised we needed to stay 2 nights (not by choice). However no standard rooms were available for the second night, only superior rooms. And since we were going on a boat tour super early the next day and didn’t want to change rooms we asked if we could stay in the standard- the customer service lady said we could but we would still need to pay the price of the “superior room” (probably sensing our limited options she also increased the price of the superior room). Needless to say, we didn’t stay there the second night. The only good thing I can say is that the breakfast is good for Indonesian standards (basic buffet style - there was toast, eggs, soup and fruit) and the view is nice from the breakfast area.
