We actually underestimated the place at first, but when we checked in the room, we love it. We had the beachfront room. It's big and quite a luxury although a bit dated. The room is clean, comfortable bed, has fridge, but they didn't put the menu or information book in the room, so we kind of had no idea of what the hotel has to offer. We had to phone the restaurant and they brought the menu, then we ordered via phone. AC didn't run well, not very cold. The hot water run well. Safety box was good, but we had to call to use it. Location is in the quiet part of the town, and by the sea, which is perfect for us.nnWe ordered dine in and the food was great. The buffet breakfast was good, too, with a lot of options, while other hotels generally offer just simple breakfast. We could have the breakfast by the sea, which was nice. We were hoping they do more chicken rather than beef in the breakfast menu. Service was a bit slow in the restaurant. For the packed breakfast, the restaurant didn't prepare our food in time so we had to wait and we were almost angry because we waited for too long. The reception had to run to the restaurant which was quite far, because the restaurant didn't pick up the phone in the morning. But the quality of the food is good and it's recommended for dine in, especially, local eateries are quite far and the online food delivery might not want to deliver due to its proximity.nnThere are 2 swimming pools but it's outdated by the look. It's facing the sea though, so it's okay to dip. A lot of people were using the pool, there were big groups coming in from the government it seems.nnTo walk to the room we have to be careful because the material they are using is quite slippery. For the elderly, may not be good during the wet season.nnThe resort is very big. Maybe because it's too big, a portion of the building was not used and from the lobby we could see a pile of rubbish and a neglected area. They should clean it up at least.nnNow, swimming in the sea. I dipped in early morning and I didn't realize oil leaks were all around me, and eventually my skin got bitten by a bug or something. From above the view is beautiful, but DON'T GO INTO THE SEA. The sea is polluted badly from the boats at the other end. This is my only biggest complaint from the hotel, please make sure to maintain the water.nnThe hotel has facility to book private boat, which is a walking distance to its port, very convenient and it will allow us time to have buffet breakfast at the restaurant, which starts at 7am rather than leaving at 5am to catch the boat at the regular port downhill.nnIf you won't be swimming in the sea, the hotel is recommended for stay.

I like the ambience and the staff hotel very helpfull but mybe they have to increase their breakfast menu

Nice room, beautiful scenery, but a lot of mosquito here. You need to bring your own anti mosque lotion.
